Only 5 more days!!! We have officially been given the green light to reopen for the year! We have been working tirelessly to provide you guys with the best protocols, safety and health standards, and elite lifting conditions. - The opening day is on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13. For the time being due to limited capacity and high demand for time slots, the HFLC is not able to accommodate club hours yet. There is NO SHARING OF PLATFORMS, and standard physical distancing and cleaning... measures must be followed. Before entering the club space, all members are required to sign in at http://athleteinfo.ca/94 (while non-student members can input 0000000 as their student number). - To register for Club Sports and the Powerlifting Club for this year, all registration is now done through AIMS (Athlete Information Management System). The link to register will be in our bio. Note, there is a $4 Club Sports Administrative Fee and is separate from the UAPA Club Fee. Membership fees for the year are: * Student - $25 * Non-student - $35 Please send us an email of your completed registration so we can arrange a time for an executive to provide your sticker. UAPA Class of 2020: Karen Lui! @karenhylui . . . Graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree . . . I'll one day be back for a master's in occupational therapy but for now I'm working towards a job in the neurorecovery field while keeping my job as a personal trainer!... . . . It's hard to pick just one memorable moment from 5 years of amazing experiences but I'm really glad I joined the UAPA and was encouraged to compete. I can't imagine my life without the sport and the friendships I've made through the club. . . . Push yourself to try new things, growth only happens outside your comfort zone! See more

UAPA Class of 2020: Jason Youn @swolekimchi . . . I was in school for 6 years and graduated with a BSc. in Pharmacy and MBA. I was recently hired as a Business Analyst full time, and I work at a pharmacy once a week. My future plans involves me in a career strategizing around healthcare and pharmaceuticals. I also hope to be big and strong like my fellow club members, and still help out new members as the weird old graduate who never moved on. . . . My most memorable moments ...have been going to competitions with my powerlifting family: cheering each other on and celebrating with big meals afterwards. . . . My biggest advice for club members and other students is to stop putting success, money, and PR’s on a pedestal. Enjoy the work and the process, and your life will be a lot more enjoyable. See more

CONGRATULATIONS to the class of 2020! Graduating can be RPE 10 with all of the late nights grinding, but you have all made it! The UAPA is proud of our members’ achievements on and off the platform, and we have no doubt that this year’s graduating class will go out there and raise the bar! #lifePR #Repost @clifton_pho with @get_repost...
