The evening was filled with fruitful discussion on LGBTQ issues, western alienation, Canadian energy, economic development, personal freedoms, and fighting xenophobia. White supremacists and hate have no place in our democracy. They are a threat to liberty and freedom everywhere.

The act of storming the Capitol Building was nothing but disgusting. It is an attack on democracy itself. We must all stand up for love and democracy in these times and stand strong against hate.
