Attention Alberta Rugby Coaches! We are offering free online coach development workshops on neuromuscular training warm-up programs for injury prevention. Register here: https://bit.ly/SHREDrugby In partnership with World Rugby and Rugby Canada, we have developed this evidence-informed warm-up program for youth rugby players. As we begin to return to sport after a prolonged break, it is extremely important that we prioritize injury prevention so that our athletes have the op...portunity to continue participating in sport. We hope you'll join us for one of our four online sessions: -Thursday June 18th 6:30-8:30pm MST -Friday June 19th 9:00-11:00am MST -Tuesday June 23rd 3:00-5:00pm MST -Tuesday June 23rd 7:00-9:00pm MST FAQ: "Is this similar to Activate?" A few years back, the 'Activate' program was developed out of the University of Bath in the UK, and evaluated in the school boys rugby. This is an excellent warm-up program, and we had the opportunity to adapt this program to: 1) Fit the Canadian rugby context - we don't typically have the opportunity to play year-round, so we needed a more condensed program to fit our rugby season. 2) Address injury prevention in females as well, since the Activate program was focused on school boys
