Are you interested in improving your data analytic and teamwork skills? Well now is your chance because the annual Crack the Case competition is coming up this weekend and we all want you to come! The competition will be running from Friday January 31st (5:00pm- 8:00pm) - Saturday February 1st (9am-8pm). ... Here’s some information you should know: Friday, January 31st will be an informational session from Faculty where students will learn what data analytics is all about. There will also be tips on how students can succeed in their case. Saturday, February 1st is the day where students will be cracking the case! It’s the day to showcase your problem solving skills and present your solutions to a panel of reputable judges! There’s also an opportunity to network will industry professionals. The junior case will be focusing on data analytics and the senior case will be accounting focused. This case competition is open up to ALL majors! The more diverse your team is, the more money you win! Lunch and drinks will be provided as well as snacks throughout the day! Don’t miss out on an amazing opportunity! This is an exceptional opportunity to apply the knowledge and concepts gained from your courses to a practical business case AND further develop your presentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. This is a traditional case competition where you will have the opportunity to present in front of industry professionals and compete for CASH PRIZES! This year we will have two differe...nt cases, for the junior team a data analytics case and senior a traditional accounting case. We are also expanding our audience and opening it up to all majors.
