The Monograph 22.01.2021

Hey everyone! The Monograph will be hosting a Discord tutorial on using Adobe InDesign, the program we use to layout The Monograph. No experience is necessary to attend, and the Co-Editors will be providing all you need to know to format your own magazine pages from scratch. This is a great opportunity to learn and we will be recruiting attendees to join our team! The tutorial will be on Wednesday Sept 23rd between 3-5pm. All you need is a laptop! A UPS Point will be provide...d for attending. If you wish to be involved with Monograph and can’t make the meeting, please let us know! We look forward to seeing you there! The Monograph 23.12.2020

Welcome back to a new school year Phamily! We hope everyone had a safe summer in light of COVID-19 and we’re happy to see everyone again! We are Amar Deonandan and David Czosniak, and we are your Monograph Co-Editors for the Undergraduate Pharmacy Society, here to share the Pre-Issue for the upcoming year. The Monograph is the official pharmacy newsletter, created by pharmacy students, for pharmacy students. Here you can find writing and art pieces, created and shared by your... fellow pharmacy classmates. The Pre-Issue has lots of helpful information to help welcome and ease you into our faculty. You will find useful information such as: UPS Council’s Who’s Who: A list of all the members of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Society School Council and all the roles we perform to promote active student life through your pharmacy journey. Clubs Who’s Who: A list of all the different clubs you can join here in Pharmacy School. You can reach out to meet and join many of these clubs at your upcoming clubs fair. The Anti-Calendar: A useful guide written by your fellow Upper Years on how to succeed in all your courses this year. We also have a written piece by one of your fellow 2T4 classmates, Ibrahim Abdullateef and his journey into pharmacy school, as well as a graduating 2T0 student, Christine Nwosu. Both students provide remarkable words on their journeys and it’s great to listen on each of their perspectives as you reflect on your own journey. As the year continues, we will be regularly publishing issues featuring pieces from students of all years, including yours. We would definitely love contributions from all of you as we shape The Monograph to reflect our pharmacy community. Keep an eye out for future announcements if you would love to be involved and look out for us at your upcoming Clubs Fair! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us directly or email us at [email protected]. We hope everyone stays safe and wish everyone the best of luck for having a successful school year! We hope that everyone is staying safe and doing well during this difficult time! Pharmakon and Monograph will be collaborating on incorporating a COVID-19 related spread in the upcoming 2019-2020 yearbook. The spread will feature the role of pharmacy students and their efforts during the pandemic. We are hoping to include student stories, interviews, photos, and other pieces that will help empower pharmacy as a profession. Please email submissions to [email protected] by May 31, 2020.
