Congratulations to the UOHI on achieving Stage 6, as part of the Atlas Alliance! This incredible achievement puts UOHI at the top 2 percent of hospitals in Canada for our adoption and utilization of EMR functions. It demonstrates our recognition of the importance of information and technology in healthcare and our commitment to build towards a future of improved care quality, safety, and efficiency.... The International Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) scores hospitals around the world based on their EMR capabilities through an eight-stage (0-7) model. Stage 6 is the second-highest rating, and only 12 other hospitals in Canada have achieved this. The Atlas Alliance is the largest partnership to reach Stage 6 in Canada.
