Hello all! The University of Ottawa Badminton Team will be hosting a badminton exhibition this Sunday at 6pm. Wanna win prizes? They've got a raffle prize with your name on it! Wanna meet the team? They've got exhibition matches! Wanna show off your own skills? They've got open courts and free play! This exhibition has a bit for everyone, and is definitely worth checking out if you're interested in badminton!

Due to basketball playoffs occurring this Saturday evening at uOttawa, the gym staff has given us notice that our session on Saturday, February 24, will have to be canceled. BUT it has been rescheduled to this SUNDAY February 25, 7 PM - 9:30 PM. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you can make it out on Sunday. Have a great finish to reading week!

Just a quick update about the signup process - we're going to be inside the Mont-Petit gym conducting registrations at 4:30PM in the corner near the martial arts room. Can't find where it is? We'll have someone past the turnstiles to direct you! Another reminder for those who have already contacted us and reserved your spot: please come in with a piece of ID as w...ell as your registration fee! If you haven't contacted us, just show up tonight with your fee of $50, your racquet, and your overwhelming urge to swat things out of the air!

Hello everyone! We're very excited to launch the University of Ottawa's first recreational badminton club! We're a club that promotes higher quality matches than you would find in any drop-ins by offering longer play times and skill-based matchmaking. That way, not only do you learn to play better, but you also have fun doing so. For the winter semester of 2018, we will offer 12 sessions with the schedule featured below. In order to cover costs for gym rentals, the membership... fee for these 12 sessions will be $50. Please note that this fee still does not cover the entire costs, with some of us paying out of pocket so that we can make this club as affordable as possible. This rate is still very competitive when compared with drop-ins or other clubs. That being said, if this club is something you'd like to join knowing the membership fee and schedule, please send us an email at [email protected] or send us a message here. So that we avoid overcrowding the gym, only confirmed members will be allowed to play in the first few sessions. Drop-ins will also be available later on in the semester for a fee.
