Adoption update: Mischa (nickname Lovey). Adopted: 07/24/2020 I had been wanting to adopt a cat for awhile, and I wanted to adopt a senior. I looked for quite a while, always close to home, without any luck. A friend sent me a link to Mischa. She was about an hour and a half away from where I live, so I hadn’t been searching in that area. But It was love at first sight! She became my owner on July 24, 2020. She explored quite thoroughly once we got home, and settled in qu...ickly. She opens up to me more and more as time goes on. She has even let me pick her up and hold her on my shoulder for a couple of minutes, purring the whole time. Unheard of when I first got her! She does zoomies like a cat half her age LOL. It’s amazing to watch. She can be moody, she still loves to nip at my hand at times, and she is downright demanding for breakfast (howling outside the OPEN bedroom door until I get up to feed her LOL) but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love this beautiful little lady, she has brought so much joy to my life!! As I hope I’ve brought to hers .

Does you workplace allow your pet in the office?

Emma is waiting for her "match". Emma is particular about who she likes, both human & dogs- so slow introductions --to both new people and dogs is a must. Professional training is recommended to address her sporadic outbursts of aggression to other dogs. She is not a fan of small animals or cats. Emma will do best in a quiet home and neighborhood, with a single person or a couple with no children. They MUST have large breed experience and a fenced yard. Once she knows and... trusts her new person(s), she will become a very loyal companion.
