We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and motivated lifeguards to add to our team. Candidates are required to hold a current National Lifeguard, Standard First Aid and CPR C, and Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor (or any other instructor qualification). Lifesaving Soci...ety Lifesaving Instructor is an asset. Please note that given the potential difficulty with getting certifications due to COVID-19, we will accept applications from candidates who do not have all of their certifications complete at this time but plan to do so before May 2021. Inviting all UB1 kids to dress up and join the Hallowe'en (COVID-19 friendly) parade through the neighbourhood on Saturday, October 31st! A big thank you to UB1 members for the donation of Hallowe'en treats for the parade goodie bags so far (please see the photo below of all the treats!). The word on the street is that many UB1 members have contributed, especially those who don't have little trick-or-treaters at home. Due to the wonderful response and high interest in this s...ocially-distanced event, the social committee will be accepting prepackaged candy on the porch of 344 Wyecroft until tomorrow, October 22nd. 26 families have already signed up to participate in the parade and more are welcome.
