Upper Canada Child Care congratulates all of our organizational members on Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day 2020. Rising Up! is the theme this year and we want to celebrate all the ways you rise up in your profession and practice every day. Today also marks the day we award a valued member of our organization and recognize their committment to Early Childhood Education. Debbie Greene of Ashton Meadows Child Care is this year's winner of the UCCC Founders Award for Excellence in Early Childhood Education. We also congratulate all of the talented nominees!

Upper Canada Child Care is wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend. We are thankful for all of our community members including front-line staff, families that we serve, head office staff, and leadership. We would like to give a 'shout-out' to Wilshire Child Care for organizing a food drive in their community. 3 boxes of food and even some diapers were donated.

The infants at BNCC had a great time exploring paint and textures recently. Squishing paint between their fingers and feeling the coarse fabric is an engaging sensory experience. #ECEMatters #preschool
