The survey results are in! Thank you all for your input! Based on the survey results 59% of residents prefer bookings to 41% first come first serve. The "2 household" bookings is the most popular choice. We will be operating the rink on a booking basis, 2 households per booking (same as swim bookings). The rink will be shared. Each family may take a side of the rink. 68% of residents voted NO guests to 32% of residents wanting guests. NO guests will be permitted during Covi...d-19. We will update our rink operations, policies and restrictions as needed with each AHS update. Please be sure to read over the rules and ensure all family members understand them. Please wear a mask until on the ice or in player boxes. NO GUESTS! If you cannot keep your booking please cancel 2 hrs in advance. If you have trouble doing so on the booking site, email or text me. Bookings will be released tonight, Friday, December 18th at 9:00. Bookings made available will be for December 19-January 12th. After the next AHS update we will re-evaluate. If you see that dates beyond January 12 are booked, they are not. I have them blocked off. Please limit bookings to 1 household booking per week. Bookings are monitored and if you book more than 1 per week, your bookings will ALL be cancelled without further warning. You will then have to go back and rebook with what is remaining. ***Booking weeks are Sunday-Saturday. The rink will be closed for temperatures -21 or colder. If the ice is too soft, usually above 0 the rink will close. I will do my best to notify you but please contact me if you are unsure. Please contact me with any questions.

Unfortunately there was an error with our survey previously sent. We have been able to fix the error. We are happy that so many responded. We’d like to ask you to do the survey again. We thank you for your input! We are hoping to have most input by Friday, 3pm. Let me know if you don't receive my emails and I will email you the survey.

The rink will be ready for skating tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16th at 10am. We will proceed with the current bookings through Friday, December 18th. Sometime Friday you will receive an update on how we will operate the rink going forward from Saturday, December 19th through this next set of Covid-19 restrictions. We have had a great response to the survey, we appreciate your input! We are putting together the rink operations based on this survey and the AHS restrictions.... Please stay tuned for updated information coming Friday, December 18th. ALL residents MUST wear a facemask until on the ice or in the player box! Please do not speak or check in for your bookings without a facemask. Please be sure to go over the rules again and ensure all members using the ice with you for your booking are aware of the rules. Failure to comply with the rules will result in your household fob being suspended. The HOA feels there have been enough warnings and many updates on what is expected for using the facility. If you are unsure, contact me BEFORE you decide to do something that you aren't sure about. NO GUESTS at this time! ALL residents must bring photo ID over the age of 16 years old for all bookings and cohorts. ALL residents with their own booking or in a cohort MUST have a fob with them for their household. Please remember, no bookings have been released past December 18th. I have them blocked until we see how we will proceed. Please be sure to cancel any bookings over the next couple of days should your personal schedule have changed and you cannot make your booking. Please cancel a minimum of 2 hours. If you cannot cancel via the link, please email/text me. Please check junk mail for emails from the booking site. We need YOUR help with keeping eyes on the facility. If you see someone that you know should not be there...ask them to leave. If you are not comfortable with that, please contact me. If you see someone jumping the fence, no questions...call the police. The HOA is cracking down on outside people using the centre that should not be. Happy skating!

Well, we are back to cooler weather! This is good for the rink...bad for our bodies! As you all are aware we had over a week of extremely warm temperatures. Our rink took to quite the melt with the warm weather and bright shining sun! The ice is very thin and along the boards extremely thin as we have had concrete showing. We have been working on repairing the rink over the past couple of days. We are hoping to have the rink up and running Wednesday. You will receive an upd...ate once it is officially open again. Please stay tuned! We have a survey we would like you to take part in. This survey will help us better understand what you as a community would like in regards to the ice rink. As you are aware, we have much stricter guidelines by AHS due to COVID-19, this doesn't affect the outdoor rinks for the most part. Many outdoor rinks have their own restrictions they are abiding by. If you can take part in the survey as soon as possible that would be most helpful, we hope to have a good response to the survey by Sunday 9pm. Please stay tuned for the rink reopening date.
