Today's #transformationtuesday brought to you by the importance of good bedding. This family wanted a quick update that didn't require changing out paint colour or carpeting and we happily obliged giving this little man a cheery space with a really neat way to display his many athletic medals above the bed. This weekend was tough. And for seemingly no reason. The weather was about as good as it gets for February in Ontario and instead if soaking up the sun, I sat inside living the same day over again for what felt like the hundredth time. Wake up. Sit in the living room (play with the kids). Clean. Stand in the kitchen (make lunch). Sit in the dining room (eat lunch). Put the kids down for a nap. Sit in the living room, solo this time, listening to Cedric not even attempt to nap.... Clean. Clean some more. Sit, or stand, or walk, with the kids. Stand in the kitchen again. Sit in the dining again. Put kids to bed. Sit in living room, again. Sleep, sporadically between wakes to feed. Repeat. With the renos, and the babies, and the e-consults, and some volunteering, I have been keeping about as busy as one could the last few months and still my social soul is aching for connection. I am so thankful that we are slowly opening up again and even more excited to get out of the house and meet with some new clients this week! So I'm changing my thought process, I'm focusing on the good. And I might switch up the routine a bit for good measure and we might play in the dining room in the morning instead?! Who knows! I'm full of surprises like that.

Every home needs a plant baby or 12. Real or faux, plants aren't only a beautiful addition to a design, they actually help to improve your mood overall! And it doesn't hurt to throw in a pretty little pot, either.
