We had a great time in Lunenburg on Tuesday for our most recent installment of #upinyourneighbourhood. It was a gorgeous sunny day, the snow was melting all around, shining a bright spotlight on this picturesque town. We started our day with coffee at N 9 Coffee Bar, walked down to the waterfront, took so many pictures of the beautiful historic architecture, and of course, petted every dog we saw. ... Then we jumped in the car and drove over to Mahone Bay, which is very close by. Shopped around at Here nor There Shop, Amos Pewter and Mahone Bay Trading Company - Quality Footwear. Jumped in the car and had a yummy lunch on the way home at Edible Matters We highly recommend you visit these beautiful towns in Nova Scotia, but do it on a weekend when all the shops are open to get the full experience! #novascotia #visitnovascotia

So apparently yesterday was International Lighthouse Day... and we missed it! So today we’re showcasing one of the cutest lighthouses in the province: Sandy Point Lighthouse. This incredible lighthouse is one of Shelburne’s most popular destinations known for its historical, architectural, and environmental significance. AND during low tide you can actually walk out to the lighthouse for that perfect selfie. How cool is that?! #upinyourneighbourhood #rediscovernovascotia

It’s International Beer Day! So it’s only fitting that we pump UP one of our favourite local brew brands Boxing Rock Brewing Company! We recently found ourselves exploring the beautiful town of Shelburne where we finally got to check this local brewery off our list!
