Ottawa: After five wonderful years, we're retiring Urban Craft from the craft show scene this year. It was an extremely tough decision to make, but one we know is the right way forward for us. We've outlined the reasons for this move in an open letter to Ottawa, which you can read on our website at the link below. While we are sad to be leaving, our hearts are filled with love because of the incredible 5 years you have given us. Thank you for all of your support--for coming out to the show, for spreading the word, for supporting small businesses in this city with your presence and your hard-earned dollars. The future is bright for makers in this city and it's because of you. Thank you for everything!

Thank you so, so much to everyone who came out to the show today! We were quite literally overwhelmed by the turnout. Thank you to everyone who waited in line to get in! We apologize to the few people we had to turn away at the very end of the day--it's the first time we've ever had to do so. Fear not, though: we are working on securing a bigger and better space for 2016 so we can see all your lovely faces in the new year. Stay tuned! Big thanks to our incredible volunteers and vendors--this show is a literal labour of love by a small team of people who are drive by a passion to help small businesses in Ottawa, and we are so grateful for your support! My Vintage Retreat is bringing their rustic goodies galore to #urbancraft for the first time tomorrow, and we can't wait to see what owner Tracy has in store for us! We love how she infuses each of her pieces with a vintage feel, and we're particularly in love with her Ottawa pillow covers! Come on down and see Tracy, her incredible goodies, and 50 other talented vendors at the Glebe Community Centre tomorrow 10AM-3PM. Admission is free!

We were terribly surprised to wake up and find out that we've been featured as Metro Ottawa's top thing to do in our fair city of ours this weekend! Woo! Les Charlatans' Chile & Tonka syrup is looking mighty fine in there, eh? Get ready, guys! Tomorrow is going to be grand!
