Today I want to talk about the use of glass. I use glass tables all the time in staging. They reserve the space, show the purpose and utility, yet they are see through and make the room feel large and open. This is demonstrated in today's Glamorous Room. Just imagine how different this space would feel with a solid wood table top.

Have you ever had a room in a basement that is basically a large hallway? ... Meaning that there is access to the room from both ends and there is no focal point or anything overly interesting on either side wall? Too narrow to put a sofa and TV or anything else? A great idea is to put furniture in the middle of the room and nothing on the walls. Today's Glamorous room shows this with a billiards table ... The owner actually purchased the table from Kijiji exclusively to stage this North Rosedale Home. It was a low risk to the seller as the buyer will likely want to purchase it with the home, and if not, the seller can re-sell on Kijiji likely for what it was purchased for.
