Creating landscapes has always been a passion of mine. It started at a young age, I was fortunate enough to have a small garden in our backyard growing up that I was able to goto a nursery and pick out a few plants of my choice to bring home to plant and take care of. My love for the outdoors developed as I grew older. The forest and nature make me feel whole. It brings joy and fulfillment to my life to be one with nature and it's beauty. Our latest project really turned out to be something special! This was a great one for us!!! It's always nice to be able to showcase all areas of our skillsets on one project from woodworking, hardscape, garden design, water feature, artificial turf, landscape lighting, and irrigation!!! I'm in love with those veggie boxes and this might be my favorite planting design I've ever done. ... Thank you Nigel and Jesselyn for giving us the opportunity to provide you with your dreamspace! Spring is in the air! Excited for the flowers so start coming out over the next few weeks bringing life back into the gardens after the winter months.

Rotten retaining wall section during construction and the freshly built reconstruction. These pressure treated landscape ties are meant to last 10-15 years. We make sure to give our walls what they need to last longer than that! ... Back filled with clear crush to keep moisture away from the wood will extend the life of your walls! Most contractors decide to skip this step to save cost and labour. This wall was so rotten because it was back filled with washed sand! The sand was constantly holding moisture against the wood basically disintegrating it. Unfortunately the fence posts also had to be replaced after getting the fence built only 2 years before this wall repair. Take care of your clients and do the best job you can!
