Hello Members, Your Bargaining Committee met for the past three days to prepare for our upcoming negotiations. We had a very informative and productive session led by members of our District 3 office. The committee is focused on securing a fair agreement that promotes and upholds a healthy lifestyle for our members, our families, and our communities.... We believe it is of the utmost importance to keep our membership informed and show our solidarity as we proceed through the bargaining process. Well we did it again!!! 90 backpacks this year full of the needed school supplies got distributed to the Sparwood Food Bank, Fernie Women's Resource Centre and ...the Schools in the Crowsnest Pass yesterday. Special thanks to our District Director, Steve Hunt and our Education Coordinator Dayna Sykes for their huge support for the program this year as well as USW 7884 in Elkford and USW 9705 in Trail. We couldn't have done it without you guys!! THANKS!!
