To all Civil Engineering Students! CSCE - UVIC CHAPTER ARE LOOKING FOR MEMBERS FOR THE CONCRETE CANOE TEAM We started a Concrete Canoe Team to give students an opportunity to develop relevant design skills, network with potential employers, and meet new friends. It also encourages students to work as a team in order to achieve a awesome final product. Competitions will be held next year in Canada and in the US. This gives us plenty of time to prepare for our first competition... and give Uvic’s civil engineering department an awesome reputation! If you are interested in joining I encourage you to come to the Information Session next week. Time and location is down below. Note that: no previous experience is required and no commitment is expected after the information session. I hope to see many of you there. Location: ECS 108 Time: Thursday March 1st at 4:30pm
