UVIC Family Centre Community Food Market important update: Our apologies for the sudden cancellation of the food market this past Monday. Unfortunately, the supply of food was low and the Living Edge was unable to deliver to us Starting next week our Community Food Market will be held at the same time (2:30 - 3:45 pm) but on Tuesdays instead, starting November 10th. Our fabulous sponsor, the Living Edge, will have an easier time sourcing food for us on this day of the week, plus we are less likely to have cancellations due to statutory holidays. Thank you, Living Edge!

Community Food Market will be held on Monday, October 26th from 2:30 pm until approximately 3:45 pm. A few reminders: 1) For everyone’s health and safety, please stay home if you have any symptoms of illness. Ask a friend or neighbour to help you out by picking up food for you instead (they can let the volunteers know).... 2) If the markers (line up) are all occupied when you arrive, please come back later. The volunteers are making sure that just as much food and selection are handed out at the end as at the beginning). 3) Follow the instructions at the table, sanitize your hands and please remember to wash all fruit and vegetables carefully before eating. The community food market is open to all student families. We thank the Living Edge for their generous support of UVic students
