Hello everyone! We hope you have been staying healthy and happy during these strange times. I’m sure many of you have questions going into the 2020-2021 school year about our club and what will be happening. This year has been incredibly difficult to predict with ever changing health regulations and restrictions. Our admin team is also going through some changes. We have not yet decided the best way to proceed this year but we will keep you updated on our decision. First and ...foremost we will be prioritizing our members health and safety. The primary duties are to patrol the coastal areas of the Long Beach Unit to provide prevention and education messaging related to common coastal risk factors to visitors. As part of our fun and dynamic team, you will actively patrol waterfront areas and facilities, providing early incident recognition and minor emergency care when necessary. Hi everyone, Due to the current situation surrounding Covid-19 we have decided that it is in everyone's best interest that we cancel the rest of our planned excursions for the year. This decision was not made lightly, but our top priority right now is making sure we are all staying as healthy as we can, and making an effort to be proactive in preventing the spread of this flu. That being said, we hope you all had a great year, and that you continue to get outside, take pict...ures, and enjoy yourselves as best you can. BC government officials have noted that going out with a couple friends and doing outdoor activities is a great way to keep spirits up in these crazy days we're experiencing. On behalf of the admin team, we want to say it's been an awesome year, and we truly enjoyed the experiences we had on our excursions, and at our events! Hello! This week we are headed downtown to try our hand at street photography downtown and along Dallas Road! Sign up will be live at 8pm! We are *not* organizing rides for this trip, as it is easily accessible to all via bus or car! Please still sign up, as it is important for us to know who is coming!
