We want to express a HUGE THANK YOU to all the donors who participated in Stock-tober this year! And another thank you to UVic Student Affairs for organizing this event, in spite of some unprecedented twists the situation this autumn presented. On October 29th, we were blessed to receive so much support from the UVic community - we broke records and received $2,320 in monetary donations, in addition to over 900 food products!!! This meant we were able to distribute over 240 hampers to students over the past couple weeks, and our shelves are still stocked!

Call for volunteers! Want to help increase food security for students? Have a couple of hours to help pack food hampers or provide to students for pick up? Please get in touch at [email protected] We're looking for several volunteers for this Thursday, Sept 17 from 10am-5pm -- for any portion of that time period -- and on an ongoing basis! We have a variety of roles on different days of the week. Some lifting required in all roles. Get in touch and we'll find something that works for you.

UPDATE: Food Hamper Program begins next week! We will be providing baskets with canned and dry food items, as well as household goods.
