Did you know that Edwin Binney's Community Garden is also a learning space for students from Fleming College Frost Campus Sustainable Agriculture Program?! Earlier this month, with help from Sustainable Agriculture students, we were able to tend for our perennial crops and prepare them for the winter, plant an entire orchard of fruit trees, and prep our compost for next season! Thank you Fleming College for being a key partner in Edwin Binney's Community Garden.

Last week our team, thanks to U-Haul and Tree Canada / Arbres Canada planted a fruit orchard at Edwin Binney's Community Garden. This orchard will be a space for students of all ages to learn about permaculture and food systems, and will help to provide food for people in our community for years to come.
