Hello everyone! Here are the final designs for our Stronger Together jerseys with LimitBreaker! We have decided to create two jerseys, where you will have the option to choose a BLM jersey (donation goes towards the Black Youth Helpline) or a Frontline jersey (donation goes toward the Frontline Fund). The updated form will give you the option to donate to the other organization if you wish to! Please note that if you would like one of each jersey, you will have to submit two... order forms and we will update shipping accordingly. https://forms.gle/eU73xih98zE5LxfC8 For those of you who have placed orders, we will be in contact with you in the next two days to update your orders. The updated order form closes on September 18 at 11:59pm!

2020 has been a challenging year. We have all been impacted by the pandemic, and indirectly/directly by the systemic and systematic racism faced by our Black Co...mmunity. Even as our social media feeds return to normal, Black Lives Still Matter, and a pandemic is still upon us. In order to make a truly sustainable and non-performative change, WPC and LimitBreaker have partnered to create Stronger Together. The purpose of this initiative is to fundraise for both our Black Community and our Frontline Workers. 100% of your donations from our jersey will be going to the organizations below: The Black Youth Helpline supports black youth and their families across Canada, focusing on education, health, and community. BYH connects youth to professional services and runs community development workshops. Visit blackyouth.ca for the list of services they provide. The Frontline Fund supports healthcare workers in hospitals across Canada. Donations fund purchasing PPE supplies, mental health support, accommodations, and research funding. Visit frontlinefund.ca for the list of hospital foundations benefiting from the fund. Our order form will open this Monday, August 24, and close at 11:59 pm on September 4, 2020. The base cost of the jersey at $45. You will have the option to donate $5 (minimum), $10, $20, $30, or $30+ in addition to the base fee. (Please note that the image above is not the final jersey proof. That will be released shortly). As paddlers in a dragon boat, we know exactly what Stronger Together means. When we work together, we’re able to make true progress. We hope that our initiative will inspire you to develop your own community initiatives and personal ways of continuously showing your support and solidarity for BIPOC and frontline workers. Here’s to change.
