We are pleased to announce that we won our Design Room at FSAE Virtual! UWFM placed first out of the eleven teams in our room. This was a strong cumulative effort from all our members. We are now looking forward to finishing and testing this car, and to building a new car for the 2021 season. ... Thank you to everyone who supported us this season and to SAE for hosting the event!

In the weeks leading up to the pandemic, our team was working tirelessly to finish all of the remaining components. Thanks to the hard work from our team and our sponsors, we were on track for completing the car. Due to COVID-19 concerns we were forced to halt the build of our 2020 competition car just one week before our first planned drive. We will be resuming the build of our 2020 car once it is safe to return to campus. SAE International has cancelled FSAEM and all dynami...c events in accordance with government guidelines. Instead, UWFM will participate in a modified FSAE Virtual competition in the coming weeks, featuring only the static events: Design Event, Cost Event, and the Presentation Event. Additionally, Design for our 2021 entry has already been kicked off and we are working on some exciting and ambitious new projects we hope to accomplish.
