While studying for exams, it's important to keep yourself fuelled by eating regular meals and snacks throughout the day For brain power while studying, choose foods which contain carbohydrates, fats and protein, such as an apple with peanut butter or hummus with carrots. Remember to keep hydrated by drinking water throughout the day For more healthy snacking tips, check out Campus Wellness' blog post here: https://uwaterloo.ca//p/healthy-snack-ideas-study-sessions ... #exams #snacktips #uwaterloo #uwaterloocommunity

Having self-compassion means that you give yourself the same kindness and care you would give to a good friend. Instead of judging or criticizing yourself, self-compassion means you are kind and understanding when confronted with challenges. Want to learn more about self-compassion? Hello my name is Priya and I am in my 3A term of Health Studies. As a Peer Health Educator, I want to share how I take care of my wellbeing in university. I try to keep active by taking walks in my neighbourhood forest and hiking on local trails, with friends and family. The vibrant leaves & occasional wildlife spotting make it totally worth it - even in this crisp Fall weather. Additionally, taking even a short walk a few times a week in green space can be a great stress-reliever during midterm season. How do you take care of your wellbeing? Share your tips in the comments below. For more health & wellness tips, don't forget to follow @uwhealthyu on Instagram
