United Way Heartland Challenge

Today was our year end celebration for the students at Next Step High School Fort Saskatchewan and Next Step High School Sherwood Park. Big thanks to Sean from Grant MacEwan University and Marianne from Sherritt International for being our guest speakers at today's event.

Learn how Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society is building upon the strengths of Aboriginal children, youth and families to enable them to grow spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally so they can walk proudly in both the Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Communities

Due to the Pandemic, some students at Next Step High School Fort Saskatchewan and Next Step High School Sherwood Park have moved their studies online. Many of the students have had to use their mobile devices to keep up with their studies. The Heartland Challenge committee recognized the need for these student to have access to reliable technology, and donated chrome books to both the schools.
