Do you have a child who is experiencing behavioral, emotional, or interpersonal problems? If yes, the UWindsor Psychological Services and Research Centre (PSRC) is here to help any graduate students who are interested in receiving free therapy for their children or adolescents, especially during this very unusual and stressful time. Supervised by Prof. Patti Timmons Fritz, a registered Psychologist through the College of Psychologists of Ontario, your child could receive (tel...e)psychotherapy free of cost. The therapy would be provided via Microsoft Teams, so interested graduate student parents do not need to bring their child to campus. The sessions with the children are videotaped and the video recordings are reviewed after each session using confidential procedures. If you are interested in the services please contact the on-campus psychological clinic, the Psychological Services and Research Centre at 519-253-3000 ext. 7012 or 519-973-7012 (direct line), https://www.uwindsor.ca/psychological-services-and-researc/ before the end of November/early December. The therapy will continue through the Winter 2021 Term. You can also reach Prof. Patti Timmons Fritz directly at [email protected] if you have questions. Kindly do not share any identifying information about the children in the email to protect their confidentiality.
