It is officially that time of year again! This year’s Relay for Life, hosted by the University of Windsor, is scheduled for March 26, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., and registration is open! Visit: https://support.cancer.ca/site/SPageServer/ Relay for Life is truly an incredible experience that brings communities together to raise awareness for the disease, celebrate those who have defeated cancer, and honour the loved ones lost. Individuals and teams will raise donations leading up to... the event which will be put towards patient support, research, education, and prevention. Even small donations make a huge difference. Currently, there is an Early Bird registration price of $15 which will get you a Relay for Life t-shirt, virtual luminary bag, and contribute towards our goal for this year! Their services are supporting over 650 people as they develop their capacity to live, learn, work, and participate in their community! Due to the cricumstances of COVID-19, on behalf of KGSA for the holidays this year we are providing you with fantastic organizations in the local Windsor Essex community where you can donate for this holiday season. First on the list is Drouillard Place. Drouillard Place is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the residents of the Drouillard and Grandview communities. During the holida...y season Drouillard Place provides Christmas gifts for children 16 and under in low and fixed-income families. They strive on community support and assistance in receiving donations during this hard time. Deadline to donate is December 14, 2020 and can be in the form of cash donations or gifts.
