Women in Accounting Speakers night 2nd speaker release! Meet Oiza Momoh, CPA, CA - Founder and Owner of Bellara Beauty Bar Oiza Momoh, has been a CPA, CA for over a decade. Her career spans across multiple sectors, beginning with articling at Ernst & Young where she focused on financial statement audits of large corporations to small sole proprietorships. She then moved on to Internal Audit with the Provincial Government and then with the City of Winnipeg.... Very recently, Oiza did a complete 180 and became an entrepreneur, opening up a Beauty Bar that provides esthetic services covering nail and skin care. While both worlds may seem unrelated, having an accounting background has provided a strong foundation to handle setting up a business and managing various aspects of its finances and has given her an opportunity to combine career and passion. Meet Trish Driedger, CPA, CGA - Chief Financial Officer at Assiniboine Park Conservancy She has over 10 years of experience at an executive level providing financial leadership in a variety of industries for private, public, and non-profit enterprises. She is passionate about continual process improvement, utilizing technology to streamline operations, improve access to timely information and efficiently extrapolate f...inancial data into strategic information allowing for strong business decisions. Trish is originally from Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in Information Networking Management. After starting her career in Canada she earned her CGA in 2009 and is currently a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Manitoba.
