Hi everyone! Dr. Paul Mensink, a marine ecologist, an advisor to our club and a professor at Western is featured on the Western Science Speaks podcast! His research involves tracking sharks that flee their natural habitats in order to survive in the face of unsustainable, human-induced conditions. In this podcast, Dr. Mensink talks about interactions between humans and marine life, the depiction of sharks in media, as well as actions we can take to save the sharks. Hey everyone! We will be hosting our Annual General Meeting this Thursday November 19th. We have two time slots available to choose from so that hopefully you can all come and say hello! The first is from 4-5pm and the second is right after from 5-6pm. We have a short presentation prepared to discuss who we are, what we do, upcoming events, and open positions on the executive team. After there will be time to socialize and get to know the execs and other members. We hope to see you all there!
