Regarding the current situation with PEBC, we are hopeful that the Ontario College of Pharmacists and its board members will be able to come up with a solution at Thursday’s emergency meeting to solve this issue in a timely manner, while maintaining full transparency to stakeholders involved. Granting pharmacy graduates conditional licensure or utilizing alternative evaluation methods is beneficial not only to pharmacy interns, but also to the general public as it allows qualified members to participate fully in our profession and scope of practice.
