This week’s featured club is UW Community Action Now - CAN! Community Action Now is an advocacy and humanitarian club that focuses on vulnerable populations. They are currently running their Toasty Toes fundraiser until Nov 27, as well as weekly Transformational Tuesday posts that bring awareness about the homeless population. #cluboftheweek #sophsclubs

Regarding the current situation with PEBC, we are hopeful that the Ontario College of Pharmacists and its board members will be able to come up with a solution at Thursday’s emergency meeting to solve this issue in a timely manner, while maintaining full transparency to stakeholders involved. Granting pharmacy graduates conditional licensure or utilizing alternative evaluation methods is beneficial not only to pharmacy interns, but also to the general public as it allows qualified members to participate fully in our profession and scope of practice. A fourth $25 gift card will be awarded to a raffle winner (each person who writes a submission will be entered for a chance to win). Interact with another person’s story by replying with a question for an extra entry in the raffle (only applicable for those who have already commented their own story).
