Please see the updated brochure. If you have registered for CanSkate or are planning to register for CanSkate, skaters MUST be able to get up and maneuver on the ice unassisted. The COVID protocol is that everyone must maintain a 2 metre distance from each other. This means that the coaches and program assistants will not be able to do any hands on assistance at this time. It is suggested that skaters have passed Stage 1 of CanSkate. If you have signed up for CanSkate and do not think your skater is at this level you can request a refund.

We regret to inform you that yesterday morning our town council decided to postpone the re-opening of the Uxbridge Arena. They would like to see further data from Public Health about the status of COVID-19 infections following the return to school in September. Council will also look at operating information from neighboring arenas over the next few weeks. Council will consider re-opening the arena at the council meeting on October 5th, 2020, with a re-opening date to follow..., pending approval. As you know our registration opened yesterday. Our skating registration will remain open. We would like to offer the following options regarding registration: If you have already registered and paid you may leave your registration as it is and you will not lose your spot in our programs. Once we return to the ice we will refund you for any classes not offered. If you have already registered and paid and you would prefer a refund please email the club and we will refund you in full. Your spot will not be saved and you can reregister once we return to the ice providing there is space available. If you have not registered and would like to guarantee a spot in our programs once we open please register and you will be refunded for classes not offered. Please know that the coaches and board are disappointed with this postponement and are working with North Durham Hockey to save our season.

Congrats to Jordan & Emma C. on a successful test day in Whitby on Wednesday!

We have had an amazing last week of Winter session. Highlights included 'fun days' on CanSkate where in one station, the skaters could draw on the ice. Thanks skaters for leaving us some amazing messages!!

Wow!! Alicia brought home a GOLD medal and a BRONZE medal from the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games Thunder Bay 2020. Way to go Alicia. We are so proud of you!
