Happy Canada Day!
To all the graduating students in the Boundary, West Kootenay and South Okanagan, and to graduates everywhere... You Did It !!
Its our favorite time of the year! Larch trees grow in the interior Pacific Northwest of the USA and British Columbia, Canada. They are conifer trees like pines because they have needles instead of leaves, and their seeds grow in cones. Unlike pines they are not evergreen; they are deciduous. In the autumn, the needles of larches turn golden and then drop off the branches. #smalllogsbetterlumber #forest_masters #didyouknow

Shoutout to the men and woman at all of our Vaagen mill locations. The weather has been cold and brutal this last month. It's amazing what teamwork can do. Thank you! The forecast is looking promising around here the next couple weeks!
Throwback thursday to one of the many examples of our collaboration efforts. This was a thinning project that we teamed up with Avista Utilities and Washington State Department of Natural Resources to create clean, green, renewable energy that was able to supply 83,000 homes for 8 hours. Amazing Stuff!
Children are our future!
