With apologies for the length of my final post on this event, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for following my journey. Please do not hesitat...e to contact me with any questions you may have Uneventful, smooth journey home. WestJet continues to ensure passenger safety with their stringent COVID-19 safety protocols. Ensure you have the ArriveCAN app installed on your smart phone and its health questionnaire completed as the confirmation number is requested at Canada Customs. The COVID-19 rapid testing program at Calgary airport was efficient and a fairly quick and easy process. You MUST preregister on-line for the program up to 5 days prior to your arrival and you will need the Trace Together app installed on your smart phone. While I estimate it took no more than 20 minutes for the rapid test process start to finish, it is set up outside of security. Great for those with Calgary as their final destination, not so great for those of us on a connecting flight as we had to go back through security to get on our flight to Edmonton. That process took longer than going through the rapid test process. All in all, travelling outside of Canada during this pandemic worked well for me and I will likely do it again before it’s over.
