Did you know that Kinbasket Reservoir was created because of the Columbia River Treaty between Canada and the US? The Treaty does not expire, but Canada and the US have started renegotiations, and some of the Canada/BC team will be coming to Valemount on June 18th, to share an update and to make sure they've heard the concerns of the Basin residents. 6pm, at the Valemount Community Hall
