We wanted to provide an update on the current status of the clinic in response to the COVID19 restrictions that were announced December 8th, 2020. Valley Chiropractic and other Chiropractic clinics across Alberta remain open and are safe for Albertans. The continuing climb of COVID19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are saddening and alarming at the same time. The goal of the new Alberta government restrictions is to bring the infection levels down to a more manageable lev...el. Valley Chiropractic has been and will continue to go above and beyond all required guidelines and recommendations for patient care. We are constantly cleaning and disinfecting, minimizing patient numbers in the clinic, having patients wait in their car if possible, and minimize the amount of time you are physically inside the clinic. Through research we have learned that how long you are exposed to a carrier of COVID19 increases your infection risk, thus our goal is to expedite the non-therapeutic components of your visit as much as possible. Through this pandemic, we have continued to believe in the goodness and kindness of Albertans. As we enter the Christmas season, one that will be unlike any in much of our collective history, let us focus on the care and love we can show to others in our community. People are hurting physically but also emotionally this is the time small acts of kindness can be amplified 100x. If you have an questions or concerns, please reach out to us at 780-624-4434. Wishing you the best this Holiday Season, Drs. Jon & Emily Marshall and the Valley Chiropractic team

Certain environments make roads more dangerous to travel on. Rain, snow, and heavy traffic are a few examples. When met with these conditions, it’s common knowledge to take it slow, use more caution, and make accommodations to ensure safety for you and those around you. ... Right now your health may be traveling a road that’s a bit more dangerous. It would be wise to take a few precautions to ensure that no major accidents happen. What does that look like? Eat better (maybe less), drink more water, get enough sleep, and find productive and safe avenues to decrease stress (exercise, therapy, meditation.) Oh, and getting adjusted regularly can help too. The roads won’t always be dangerous but when they are, take your time and make the changes to get through it safely!

Most people would have liked 2020 to end 6 months ago. Don’t worry it’s over at the end of this week. Before you dump this year and move forward to the next we encourage you to spend some time reflecting. ... What went well this year? What didn’t go well? What changes did you make? What changes do you have to make? Who did you spend time with the most? Who should you have spent more time with? Reflection can be incredibly powerful. And if you’re looking to propel yourself forward into the next year, taking time to analyze your past will only help. Thanks for the memories, 2020. We’ll see you next year!
