We’re heading into the City for sone racing tomorrow. If you plan on racing, now is the time to support the event and pre-reg.

One more week till ValleyCross Cultus Lake.

Just had our site visit this afternoon the the Cultus Lake Parks Board. They wanted to inform us that they went ahead with course remediation prior to our race. Not worry though, our course won’t be affected. Registration is now open for our October 7th race As well as Vanier Park this coming Saturday and VCXC’s race on October 6th. ... https://ccnbikes.com/

October 6th and 7th - #LMCX2018 Series Double Header. No need to choose one race over the other, you can race them both. Vancouver Cyclocross Coalition's Season opener is on Saturday, the Belgium sands of Cultus Lake returns Sunday and Turkey Turkey on Monday. The perfect combo to kick off October proper. Registration links will be posted this weekend.

A MailChip email has been sent out regarding the cancelation of the CritCross event that was scheduled for this Sunday (Jan 7th). It contains details regarding refunds if you choose not to wait for a 3rd attempt to hold this race. Mission Raceway has a lot of potential for an exciting CritCross format. A date for this Spring just needs to be sorted out. Stay tuned

Sorry to have to do this again, but we are forced to postpone the 2nd day Provincials race, yet again. The Mission Raceway Track officials called today saying we need to reschedule. Mission is in a deep freeze right now with an unbelievable amount of ice everywhere. Some Mission residents are still without power from last Friday’s freezing rain storm. The new date is TBD.

Downtown Vancouver might seem like a typically West Coast winter, but the Fraser Valley is experiencing a bit of a micro climate deep freeze right now. Especially Mission. We’ll see if the mildly warmer weather thaws things out this week. If not, well have safety issues with surface conditions, not to mention difficulties with placing stakes in the ground. We’ll make the call Friday if we need to push the make-up event yet again.

CCN Bikes Registration link is now open and can be accessed from the events page below. All 2017 pre-reg participants licensing will be honoured for the Duck Memorial, but you will need to re-sign a new 2018 waiver at sign-on. All new registrations will need to purchase a 2018 Single Day insurance or a 2018 UCI license to register. If you are had Pre-Registered for the second-day Provincials race but are unable to attend the Duck Memorial Crit/Cross, sorry but there will be no refunds.
