I’ve read articles that predict opposite ends of the spectrum for real estate next year. This one suggests that the higher prices will continue into next year. All we can do is wait and see, I suppose. Supply/demand is one of the main factors affecting our local prices. That, and the people who want what we have, here in the beautiful Annapolis Valley! I’ve worked with people from out west and Ontario. Many with family roots here, some who have never even visited, but have h...eard about NS and the Valley. Also, there’s been an influx of people who live and work in the city who have either decided to commute to work/work from home, or have sped up the timeline on their retirement. Some are looking for a small town way of life with close access to services, others are dreaming of being self-sufficient with a few acres of land and a comfortable house and others still are drawn to our ocean shoreline and salt air. It makes me realize how lucky we all are to already live in what is many people’s Dream Destination! I’ll especially have to try and remember that over the winter when I’m freezing cold!!

I haven’t been posting SOLDS for my buyer clients, but I can’t think of a better time to start than with these two special buyers.
