Hey everyone! It’s been quite a while since I’ve popped in to introduce myself! I’m Payton- the owner of Valley Roots! Doing hair has been a passion I’ve had since I was about 10 years old. I remember my grandmother always getting in trouble from her stylist because she would let me cut her hair. Brave lady, I know! I am also a MilSpouse with three young boys, ages 6, 7, and 9. My spouse is a huge part of behind the scenes here at the shop! I am forever grateful for all of t...he amazing custom work he and my grandfather have done. From all aspects of the construction and renovation, right down to the design and colour schemes. My entire goal with opening Valley Roots was with the intention of giving myself and other stylists an incredible place to work! Somewhere with lots of welcoming, friendly faces, positive vibes and somewhere to learn and grow comfortably. I am incredibly blessed to have my amazing team of girls and my spouse who continue to give me an amazing amount of support. I’m also so very grateful for each one of our clients, who continue to support the shop, myself, and each one of my girls! This dream wouldn’t be possible without each one of you!!
