This season just keeps getting more difficult! We have just been informed that our hill manager is pursuing other options and will not be returning this season, so we are desperately looking for someone to fill this position. We would like to have a hill manager in place before we start making snow so we are guaranteed that we have this position filled when we are ready to open. The Board has been monitoring the most recent Winter Recreation guidelines (see link in comments) and remains committed to moving forward with the season. Ski hills are an important source of winter recreation for physical and mental health -- can't wait to get started! Snowmaking will resume once we get a consistent stretch of cold weather. Stay tuned for further updates.

The board is monitoring the new restrictions announced Tuesday very closely. These restrictions are meant to be for a 28 day period ( expiring, January 12th). Clarification on warm up spaces and washrooms at ski areas is expected soon and will be shared with the membership as soon as the ministry confirms details.

After much consideration, the board has decided to cancel the annual Ski Swap due to COVID gathering restrictions and the presence of heavy equipment repairing the hill. Our community page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/490611041761603 )is still available as a way to connect with other Valley members, but please follow all AHS guidelines if deciding to swap gear privately. The board is working diligently on plans for the upcoming season, stay tuned over the coming weeks for more information on Season Pass Sales.

The 50/50 raffle is still on and the draw will be made as advertised on March 28 at 5pm. Ticket books must be returned to Jeanette Feddema before that time. Jeanette will be at the hill during the gear pick up times posted (Friday 10-3, Sunday 10-3 and Monday 6:30-8:30) you can return them then or call the hill during those hours for alternate pick up arrangements. If you need to contact Jeanette outside of those hours please DM us for her contact information.
