Watch out for those Google adverts! Sometime they're malicious. This one is actually an image. When clicked on, it links to a malicious website that tries to convince you that your computer is infected with the pornographies and that you need to call "Microsoft" and give them access to your computer and money. If you read the ad carefully there's a few errors, notably that "depot" isn't capitalized and.. "Official Site"? No one does that but celebrities.... Thanks for the tip off, RS.

It's always lovely when our clients take the time to drop us a Google review. Thank you! :)
We received two robo calls today claiming to be from Amazon. Both poorly worded. One claimed that my Amazon Prime subscription had been renewed for $39 dollars and nine nine cent. We ignored that one. The second one claimed at an iPhone 11 had been ordered on our account for $1,300 US dollar. This one, we hit one on. The Indian gent on the other end claimed that our account had been hacked and someone had ordered an iPhone 11. All we needed to do was give him access to ...our computer via remote control and he would be happy to give us a refund. Once we got his fake "Amazon" website address from him, we contacted the hosting company and had it taken down. How's that for a scam, you bastards? :) This is a common scam. Usually it's from "Microsoft Support" or "Your Anti Virus Company". I don't know how they catch people with this one. No one has ever needed to get onto my computer to refund me anything. It's bizarre, but it must work, as they keep trying it. These calls are fake, as are the "Your computer has a virus! ZOMG!" calls. If you get one of these calls and you're not sure if it's fake, hang up and contact the company in question directly from their website. If it's from "your bank", call the 1-800 number on the back of your card. If you don't deal with the company in question, it's fake. In fact it's best to never pick your personal phone up again. No one calls these days except scammers. But do go call your mom, she worries about you. Hopefully she answers, and doesn't figure you called, you must be a scammer. ;)
From the deep sea to the sky.... Next to the Amiga 4000 used for the movie Titanic, we also have the Amiga 2500 used by NASA. According to the letter we got wit...h it, it was used from 1992 till around 2005 and was responsible for more than 150 launches, including Cassini probe to Saturn, Mars Orbiter, Mars Lander and many more. NASA even took the time to get the machine working again and remove the confidential files from it. They choose Amiga over IBM PC and Apple Macintosh because both systems were considered too slow. The Amiga had the fastest multitasking OS (as written in the letter) and were not toys like the Commodore 64 and VIC20. Also, Commodore provided all information about the custom chips. An Amiga that is really special for mankind, right at the museum which can be visited again from Thursday! Yay! A big thanks to Marvin for allowing us to display this gem.

Holy crap. Diablo could have been a completely different game and a genre may not have been born. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huPF3Gid7DE
A bargain at twice the price! It would take 100 of these ancient hard drives to make up a gigabyte. Your average USB flash drive is 16-64GB. For well under a dollar a gig.
And people worry about AIs taking over the world. How will they know where to park while preparing to exterminate all humans?

Millie and Mollie, a new Commodore 64 game (Yeah, people are still making commercial games for a 38 year old computer) has been released for Windows, iPhone and Android. $5 to support a great developer and for some classic gaming fun? Why not! https://www.belowthetower.com/millieandmolly

After 8 years, Valve has updated the best co-op zombie shooter of all time, Left4Dead 2. I played last night with some folks, including former VAMer, Protocal-X. It's a short but hard campaign and well worth the playing. Nice to have the Counter Strike weapons in L4D2! In the last few minutes of the final battle, two players disconnected and it was just Proto and myself, low on ammo and facing two tanks backed up by a horde of undead. A tank charged me on top of the light... house. I failed to dodge and was carried right off the light house and cliff, falling 100+ feet into the pounding surf below. Protocal ran for the boat, finished off the two tanks with the shotty and survived to be rescued. RIP everyone else and well done, Matt. Thanks for the update, Valve and the community! - Dave https://www.polygon.com//left-4-dead-2-update-the-last-sta
