VDZ+A Civil and Landscape Architecture staff are proud to be the design leadership team for the recently completed willoughby park sports field complex at the Langley events centre. Our work included the design and construction administration of two artificial turf fields as well as associated parking lot expansion and pedestrian spaces. A Storm Water Management Plan was required per Township of Langley bylaw which required the design and construction of an underground stormwater detention facility. This facility is highly anticipated by community sports groups as well as high performance soccer clubs. The pitch is designed to mimic major league soccer surfaces and will be a premier facility for the Fraser valley.
