Matching working dog pair, Avalanche and Disaster profiles, visiting last night for the release of the new IMAX documentary film: Superpower Dogs. From left to Right: Freyja (CARDA), Exie (CARDA, retired), both handled by Lindsay Eastwood of Nelson BC. Fenix (CAN-TF1), Hope (CAN-TF1) both handled by Kim Kennedy. Freyja and Hope are litter mates! The long hairs are a fluke.
Canada Task Force 1 attended a large FEMA exercise in Muskatatuck, Indiana last week. The facilities and scenarios were challenging and amazing! Teams from all accross the USA, Canada and even a team from Australia!
This is Hope. Achieved this with marker training and an absolute lifesaver when the handler is injured and unable to give her enough exercise!
