As the summer continues we are working diligently to maintain the track in the property. Due to the current situation we are still not open for public, we are currently waiting for the government to release more information about gathering some groups and how to re-open.

Well it was a great start to the year. A private event for the members to be social and start the new year. Great turn out with lots of engines running

Much progress made today. New crossing concrete pour done!!!! Just need to attach the rails again and we’re ready for running in spring. Even had a special supervisor check up on us.

Got a lot of work done today finishing up with the guy started on Friday the Crossing is done unformed and prepped and ready to go the mainline tracks are we connected temporary ballasting is in place we are getting prepared for the new season of running in the spring time

Well as we are done for the season, it’s track work time on the mainline. Big projects time!!! Today was removal of the crosswalk. Soon to be replaced with new wider concrete.

We are hauling cars out and drying out the track hopefully the rain holds it’s your final night for the pumpkin express come for a train ride pumpkin carving face painting and little games for the kids. Just make sure to follow the parking instructions by our attendance bring gum boots maybe a flashlight and dress for any weather conditions

For those attending today and tomorrow. We are hoping for good weather. Little rain won’t slow us down. Bring gumboots and rain jackets. Flashlights help as well. The field is good for parking just follow the directions and they’ll help find you a spot.

Hello everyone. We are down to 1 week away from The Pumpkin Express. This year the entry is $12 per carload with train rides by donation. As like last year PLEASE understand that we are all volunteers and doing our best. Just like last year we plan to use the field for parking, please DO NOT park on Lochside Road. Parked cars plus heavy traffic makes it dangerous to walk on and emergency vehicles cant get down the road. As well we must respect our neighbours and make... sure they have their access. Expect possible poor weather, bring proper jackets and footwear. Maybe bring a flashlight as some areas can be darker than others. With large crowds expected PLEASE be patient with the train lineup. For safety we can only have so many trains with so many cars. We are trying to get everyone around the track as quickly and smoothly as possible. Well the weather has cleared in the fog has lifted we brought all the cars out we’re getting the trains ready will have public roads today between 10 and two come out and have some fun

Good morning everyone. We are open today 10-3 for the Threshing Weekend Fall Fair. Demonstrations , steam tractors, model boats, train rides. Fun for the whole family. Come on out.

With some visiting engines we are test running today before the public arrives tomorrow for rides. Always safety first.
