Vancouver Morris Men

Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, it's been a long time since we were "out and about" and, unfortunately, we still don't know when we'll be able to resume anything near normal activities. However, this winter holiday season, some of us decided to make a special effort to provide some unique, morris-inspired (well, mumming-inspired!) entertainment for you, all while effectively locked down in our own homes. So here is A Modern Pandemic Tale, a mummers play summarizing the... current predicament in which we all find ourselves this holiday season. There are four characters: 1. Bonnie Doctor Henry (for those of you not in BC Canada, this is a spoof of our Provincial Health Officer, locally much loved and respected) 2. Johnny Scofflaw, representing the youth, or indeed, anyone who flaunts the currently imposed health rules 3. Doctor Flake - I'm sure you can figure out who we are spoofing here ! 4. We apologize to all our followers (dare we say fans?!) who usually come out to celebrate May Day with us at Trimble Park. However, the coronavirus pandemic has curtailed our activities for the time being.
