This autumn, we came together to fight tooth and nail for climate action, affordable housing, pharmacare, and a fairer system that takes bold steps to combat income inequality. We marched in a crowd of 100,000 in the largest climate strike the world has ever seen. We have come so far this year, and we are ready and excited to take this fight into 2020. Let's spend this decade building a brighter future.

This event, organized by the community that fought against the BC Liberals' privatization of the land, marked ten years since the original public housing was demolished. It was great to see NDP MP Don Davies, who used to represent this part of the federal riding before the creation of Vancouver Granville, out today in support of the community's demands.
