Never use pointed wood/ metal screws to secure a electrical panel cover............some bright spark was pretty close to becoming part of the electrical system here!

Interesting find at this condo inspection. A dryer duct lint trap located in a bedroom closet. With the thermal imaging camera you can see the cover is not sealed well. The result of this allows a large amount of humid air to enter the closet..........you can imagine what that might do to ones clothing eh.

Overheating electrical wire inside this panel.......yup. Possible fire hazard.......big time!

The stucco and sheathing are literally peeling off the railing frame due to a very poorly installed wood railing cap.

Ah, what a clever, resourceful, diy solution........replacing fuses with copper pipe.........absolute genius! #electricalfail

Snow cover really makes a roof inspection rough but sometimes you’ll see cues to know a roof is not in great shape. Inside this attic I’ve found multiple active roof leaks. Leaks that actually appear to have been happening for a while.

How about this for a stunning contrast in downtown Vancouver. There is about 100 years difference between these Queens Anne’s (1894) and this tower development (1994).
