I've just arrived back in Vancouver from a 7,000km motorcycle ride to California. I spent a day diving at Anacapa Island, in the Channel Islands National Park. I went on the Raptor Dive Charters boat. They're an excellent operator. Bonaire trip photos

I traveled to Bonaire with dive buddies James and Eduardo, July 26-August 3, 2014. It's a bucket list destination with about 100 marked shore diving sites. It's Dutch territory, located about 50km off the Venezuelan coast, 12 degrees North of the equator. Pics will be posted in a few days. Pavilion Lake photos

Return to Pavilion Lake My buddy Eduardo and me went back to Pavilion Lake for 4 dives on July 10-11. The air temperature was 37C, but water temperature at a depth of 23m was just 8C, so it was winter attire under the drysuit. The best part of the diving this time was in the shallows, where colourful vegetation was the highlight.

I went to dive the Ready at Britannia Beach with Eduardo on Sunday, February 2nd. Awesome viz...the best I've seen at this site. See pics and video. Look for the mother ling cod in the video. She was aggressive toward me, trying to shoo me away from her eggs.

I went diving with Shaun on Friday Oct. 25. One dive at Britannia Beach and one at Porteau. Thousands of crabs and 2 octopuses at Porteau. Check out the video!
