The CeMCOR (Centre for Menstrual Cycle and Ovulation Research) Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) survey (www.cemcor.ubc.ca) is open to all individuals diagnosed with PCOS, and seeks to gather information to improve their lives. CeMCOR recognizes that not everyone can tolerate ‘the Pill’, which also doesn’t address all PCOS-related symptoms. Those completing the survey are asked to: - Identify and rank their biggest challenges living with PCOS - Provide feedback on their experi...ences with birth control pills - Indicate their interest in a new, symptom-relieving therapy involving the administration of progesterone For further information about the survey or study, visit: http://www.cemcor.ubc.ca/about-pcos-treatment-survey

Social distancing is the talk of the town these days allowing space between us and other people we want to socialize with. But allowing for space is a different reality for street-based community members. There is often no space for them to sit down, take a break or access a safe washroom. ... Today, help us give the Gift of Space the gift of partially re-opening up our drop-in space, our washroom and our computer lab, to respond to the immediate health and safety needs of womxn and gender-varying folx in the DTES! : - A financial donation to support our anticipated $325 weekly cleaning/sanitizing measures, or our weekly goal of $415 for fruit, yogurt, eggs and bottled water give-away. - E-transfer your donation to [email protected] now! In-kind donations of isopropyl alcohol for sanitizer (to complement our stock of hydrogen peroxide , panty liners or menstrual pads, soap, or dental hygiene kits are also significant contributions to a respite space. Drop it off at our centre or order online at at grocery store in Vancouver and email us the chosen pick up time/location [email protected]. See more
