In our Pre-Covid world this, the 3rd weekend in December, would be our Nutcracker weekend. Right now our performers would be checking their make-up, smoothing their costumes and going through their steps in their dressing rooms. Our dedicated backstage crew would be checking props , reviewing stage notes and ushering our audience into their seats. There would be an atmosphere of joy, anticipation & excitement ! But... this is just one year and keeping everyone safe is our... priority. Let's start right now to look forward to Nutcracker 2121! We all know Autumn is here when the Big Orange Pumpkin appears in front of our Brigus Studio. Just a reminder folks - we are now on our Fall Break. Dance classes will resume on Tuesday November 3rd. See you then and have a Happy & Safe Halloween! :) Mrs. M.

Happy Thanksgiving Monday everyone! I'm thankful for my students and their families not only during Thanksgiving but at every time of year! Here are some picture memories from an Autumn gone by when it was considered safe for our students to get close to one another.

We had a wonderful FIRST WEEK BACK to Dance Class! There were big smiles and lots of Covid hugs all around! Here are some of our senior dancers. I took this picture on the lawn of our Brigus Studio a few minutes before we headed inside to dance together for the first time in 6 months! I call this picture JUMPING FOR JOY! Then here's a picture of our grade 8 dancers striking a pose in The Bay Roberts Studio. I'm glad to see they haven't lost their PIZZAZZ! ;)... Last but definitely not least - brightening up our Dance Studio Sign - here's a trio of grade 3 dancers - Willa, Lydia & Bethany :)

Hi everyone, I'm happy to announce that out dance school will re-open for the 2020 Fall term on Tuesday September 15th. There will be Covid restrictions of course. I'll "group text" details and your schedule later. Here's our lovely Elizabeth dancing in the summer sunshine!

Today, Monday July 13th, we launch into the second week of our outdoor summer STEPDANCE SERIES. Let's hope the weather is as kind to us as it was last week. Above you'll find a picture of our 10 AM beginner group kicking up their heels. When I see a ponytail flying I know class is going well.(Check out Allie's ponytail.) And here's Claire, Bryony, Paige, Ella, Kate & Emma hanging out after the intermediate workshop. Don't worry folks - they share the same bubble.
